Haris Stamoulis has a combined experience of 30 years in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance, both in U.S.A. and Europe. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fortium Advisors, which was established in 2015, specializing in strategy and finance consulting with particular interest in the Bio-Tech, Healthcare, Technology and Hospitality sectors. Prior to Fortium, Haris started his career at Goldman Sachs in New York in the 90s as an investment banking analyst, focusing on M&A and Corporate Restructuring Projects in the Media & Entertainment sector. In 1998, he returned in Greece, where he worked for 17 years successively with Hellenic Securities as the Head of its Corporate Finance Department, Investment Bank of Greece (IBG) as the Head of its Investment Banking Division and KPMG as Head of Corporate Finance.

In 2005, Haris founded Lead Finance S.A., an Athens boutique advisory house, which was recognized as one of the leading firms for restructurings. He was involved in over 20 restructuring deals in more than 12 countries in Europe and more than 50 M&A transactions (mostly cross-border) of value exceeding the amount of $5bn. In 2010, he raised capital ($150mil) for creating the first turnaround Fund (Lead Recovery Capital I) focused on financially distressed Greek Assets.

Haris was born and raised in Athens, Greece. After he graduated from Aristotle University of Salonica with a BSc degree in Economics, he continued his studies in New York, receiving his MBA from Adelphi University and a MSc in Finance from New York University.

Outside his professional activity, Haris has always been very active in sports and particularly in basketball, having been a professional player in Europe, coach and team executive and shareholder, while currently focusing on Youth programs associated with Sports & Education. He has also been supporting non-profit organizations involved with autism, organizing fundraising efforts within the impact investors community.
